Spanish Law Gets Version Control
A developer created legalize-es, a Git repository containing Spanish legislation. Every law change becomes a commit. You can diff legal amendments. You can blame individual clauses.
This isn't just a novelty project. Version control for legislation makes changes transparent and traceable in ways PDFs and gazettes never could. The discussion explored applications beyond Spain: tracking regulatory changes, auditing policy evolution, and building tools on top of legal diffs.
Neural Networks Etched in Silicon
CERN is using tiny AI models burned directly into silicon chips for real-time data filtering at the Large Hadron Collider. The LHC produces roughly a petabyte of data per second. Most of it is noise. These silicon neural networks filter the signal at hardware speeds.
