Additional Objects Add-on: Scale Past Your Plan Limits Without Upgrading

Cosmic now offers an Additional Objects add-on. When a Project or Workspace approaches its Object limit, you can add capacity in packs instead of jumping to the next plan tier. Each pack adds 10,000 Objects and 25 Object Types for $10/month, billed monthly and prorated like every other add-on.

This is the relief valve for the most common scaling question we hear: "I love my plan, I just need more room for content." Now you add exactly the capacity you need, when you need it, and nothing else changes.

What's New

• Capacity in packs, not tiers. Add as many 10,000-Object packs as you need from your billing page. Pricing is linear and predictable: $10/month per pack.
• Object Types included. Every pack also raises your Object Type limit by 25, so your content model can grow alongside your content. No separate add-on, no extra charge.
• Project and Workspace level. Buy the add-on on a standalone Project, or on a Workspace where it applies across all attached Projects. Billing follows wherever your plan lives.
• Limits update instantly. The moment the subscription is active, your effective Object and Object Type limits go up. Your usage meters reflect the new ceiling right away.
• Works across the platform. The higher limits apply in the dashboard and through the public REST API, so content creation keeps flowing whether it comes from an editor, a script, or an AI agent.
• Transparent pricing. The pricing calculator on cosmicjs.com now includes Additional Objects, so you can model your monthly cost before you commit.

Why This Matters

Object limits exist to keep plans fair, but a hard cap with no middle ground forces an awkward choice: either upgrade to a much larger plan you do not need yet, or stop creating content. Neither is a good experience when you are in the middle of building something.

The Additional Objects add-on removes that friction. If you are on a plan you like and simply need more headroom, you add a pack or two and keep going. You stay on the plan that fits your team, and your bill grows in small, understandable steps that match your actual usage.

How It Works

1. Go to Billing > Add-ons for your Project or Workspace.
2. Find the Objects section and enter the number of packs of 10,000 objects you want.
3. Click Save and confirm the charge. Each pack is $10/month and also adds 25 Object Types.
4. Your effective limits update immediately. Check Usage to see the new ceiling reflected in your Object and Object Type meters.

For example, adding 8 packs raises your limits by 80,000 Objects and 200 Object Types for $80/month, on top of whatever your plan already includes.

Try It

Open Billing > Add-ons, choose how many packs you need in the Objects section, and save. The capacity is live as soon as the subscription is active.
